Miami hires ex-Rams coordinator as RB coach

Former St. Louis Rams offensive coordinator Bobby Jackson was hired as running backs coach for the Miami Dolphins to replace Bobby Williams, who was fired last week.

MIAMI (April 24, 2007) -- Former St. Louis Rams offensive coordinator Bobby Jackson was hired as running backs coach for the Miami Dolphins to replace Bobby Williams, who was fired last week.

Jackson was the associate head coach and offensive coordinator with the Rams in 2000-02. They led the NFL in total offense in 2000 and 2001.

Jackson, who has 20 years of experience as an NFL assistant, last coached in 2002.
