In Denver the view is that the game still holds plenty of intrigue despite not adding to the Brady-Manning legacy. In fact, the future Hall of Famer will be out at least the next couple of weeks. Meanwhile, receiverEmmanuel Sanders hopes to return for the Patriots game after sitting out the previous week.
The Providence Journal says Chris Jones and Dane Fletcher were not activated off PUP by the deadline, thus ending their seasons. In a season full of injuries, it's time for a couple more Patriots to step into the next man up role.
