Today’s Patriots.com News Blitz brings a quiet Friday of New England-related news from around the web aside from some curious comments on tampering emanating from New York.

Even slow days of football news seem to end up bringing plenty to talk about.

That's certainly the case this Friday morning as we tip-toe into the first day of spring.

While there is limited news surrounding the Patriots in regards to free agency or the draft, New England's tampering charges against the Jets have stirred up some interesting commentary out of the Big Apple.

The New York Daily News offers up a laughable defense of the Jets pursuit of Darrelle Revis that calls the Patriots "petty" for pursuing tampering charges against their Border War rival. Manish Mehta closes the piece out by telling the Patriots to “stop whining.”
