Biggest Patriots news today involves Rob Gronkowski.

According to numerous media outlets, the team gave him a significant advance on his roster bonus that was supposed to be due in full next offseason.

There are reports on this on ESPNBoston.com, in the *Boston Herald*, and NESN.com.

CSNNE.com, meantime, says Tom Brady's camp and the NFL have resumed negotiating as requested by the judge in his case against the league. It also reports on a few roster moves the team is said to have made overnight.
