Niners tender contracts to linemen

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (March 1, 2005) -- The San Francisco 49ers tendered contracts to offensive linemen Eric Heitmann and Kyle Kosier, allowing them to match offers for the restricted free agents.

Heitmann, a third-year pro, started 16 games at left guard last season and 36 in three years despite missing half of 2003 with an injury.

Kosier started every game at left tackle and has missed only one since 2002.
