FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - In their first AFC East divisional matchup of the 2018 campaign, the Patriots orchestrated a dominant 38-7 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday and improved to 2-2 on the season. The performance resonated with local audiences, as the CBS broadcast was the most-watched event of the week in the Boston television market.

The 1 p.m. game, shown locally on WBZ, delivered a 30.8 household rating with a market share of 65. Year-over-year, it marked an 8 percent increase in ratings over the Patriots' 2017 Week 4 game, a 1 p.m. kickoff on FOX against the Carolina Panthers.

The game averaged more than 1.1 million viewers and peaked at 2:15 p.m. with a rating of 33.1 and share of 70.

The Patriots will host Indianapolis on a short week, taking on the Colts in primetime on Thursday Night Football. Kickoff is slated for 8:20 p.m. on FOX. The nationally-broadcast game will be called by Joe Buck, with Troy Aikman providing color commentary and Erin Andrews and Kristina Pink working the sidelines.
