NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 20, 2007) -- The Tennessee Titans released veteran left guard Zach Piller, five months after he had a season-ending ankle injury.

Piller was placed on injured reserve in October for the second time in three seasons after he hurt his ankle Sept. 24 at Miami. He tore his left biceps in the 2004 season opener.

A third-round draft pick out of Florida in 1999, he played in 87 games with 58 starts. Jacob Bell moved from right tackle to replace Piller.
