In Case You Missed It: Manziel visit was no April Fools joke

In case you missed it we break down our coverage from this week, which included a surprising visit from two of the top quarterback prospects.

The Patriots made two signings official this week. Over the weekend Vince Wilfork received a contract extension and then on Monday, the team officially announced that it had resigned center, Ryan Wendell. As if on que, April Fools fell on the very next day and provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate the signings. Jackie Brittain caugh up with some fans at Patriot Place and had some April Fools fun!

Additionally, today the team brought back one of it's former players. Patrick Chung and the Patriots agreed to a contract that will bring the 26-year-old safety back to New England in 2014. Andy Hart caught up with Chung in this exclusive one-on-one interview.

But the big news out of Foxboro this week was surrounding the reports that Johnny Manziel and Teddy Bridgewater had been invited for a visit with the Patriots. The NFL Network team tried to break it down and explain why Bill Belichick chose to bring in the two quarterback prospects. It was also reported that the Patriots brought in running back Michael Bush and defensive end Will Smith for visits this week as well.
