FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – For the third consecutive year, the NFL has implemented the My Cause, My Cleats campaign, giving players and coaches an opportunity to wear customized cleats or sneakers in support of a charitable cause.

Each NFL team has designated one home game from week 13-15 as their My Cause, My Cleats game. Patriots players and coaches will have an opportunity to wear their specially designed cleats and sneakers for this Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will wear customized sneakers this Sunday while 19 of his players will sport specially designed cleats for causes that are particularly important to them. Participating players include David Andrews, Tom Brady, Rex Burkhead, Adrian Clayborn, Phillip Dorsett, Nate Ebner, Stephon Gilmore, Lawrence Guy, Duron Harmon, Brian Hoyer, Dont'a Hightower, Chris Hogan, Jacob Hollister, Devin McCourty, Jason McCourty, Sony Michel, Derek Rivers, Matthew Slater and Kyle Van Noy.

The Patriots players and coaches will showcase a wide variety of causes including education, healthcare initiatives, homelessness prevention, mentoring, natural disaster relief, youth sports and more. Players will share images of their cleats and the stories behind them on social media, using the hashtag #mycausemycleats.

Following the game, players will have the opportunity to raise funds for the cause of their choosing by auctioning their cleats. One hundred percent of the funds raised will be donated to charities selected by players. Fans may bid on game-issued player cleats at NFL.com/Auction and help players raise funds for their chosen causes.

During weeks 13-15, more than 800 players across the NFL will wear customized cleats reflecting their commitment to charitable causes during these games. Players and teams worked directly with local customizers as well as Nike, Under Armour and adidas to design their cleats.
