In 2001, he began a three-year stretch where he started all but one game at center for Baltimore. During the 2003 season, Flynn started every game at center as the Ravens' Jamal Lewis ran for 2,066 yards, the second highest single-season total in NFL history. After starting five games in 2004, Flynn went on to start all but one game at center over a three-year span from 2005-07. He was released by the Ravens on Feb. 28, 2008. Flynn is a native of Springfield, Mass., and attended Cathedral High School in Springfield.
