Patriots sign three players

The Patriots announced that they have signed RB Kenneth Farrow, WR K.J. Maye and RB Khalfani Muhammad.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced that they have signed RB Kenneth Farrow, WR K.J. Maye and RB Khalfani Muhammad.

Farrow, 25, originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with San Diego out of Houston in 2016. The 5-foot-9, 219-pounder played in 13 games with two starts as a rookie and totaled 60 rushing attempts for 192 yards and 13 receptions for 70 yards. He sat out the 2017 season on injured reserve and was released by San Diego on April 13, 2018.

Maye, 24, was last on an NFL team with New England during training camp in 2017. He was released prior to the start of the regular season. The 5-foot-8, 191-pounder originally signed with the N.Y. Giants as a rookie free agent out of Minnesota on May 6, 2016. He was released by the Giants at the end of training camp and joined the Tennessee Titans practice squad on Dec. 28, 2016. He was released by Tennessee on May 19, 2017.

Muhammad, 23, originally entered the NFL as a seventh-round draft pick (241st overall) by Tennessee out of California in the 2017 NFL Draft. The 5-foot-7, 174-pounder spent the majority of his rookie season on the Titans practice squad. He has not appeared in an NFL game and was released on April 30, 2018.
