NEW ORLEANS (March 18, 2005) -- The New Orleans Saints signed linebacker Levar Fisher to a one-year contract.
A second-round pick out of North Carolina State by Arizona in the 2002 draft, Fisher played in 23 games and started 15 for the Cardinals.
He had 117 total tackles, including 77 solo, one quarterback sack, eight tackles for a loss, and three pass deflections. Fisher was released by the Cardinals in October 2004, and sat out last season. He had been on the injured list with a knee injury before being released.
