Saturday was a busy day for us! We started with our final rehearsal for our variety show which would be taking place that night. We then moved out onto the beach for cricket. None of us had ever played cricket, and most of us had never even seen it played before. It ended up being a lot of fun! Jensine and Kikco were definitely the MVPs. After cricket, Coconut Bay held their first ever Rubber Duck Race in the lazy river. Ducks had been on sale all week and were labeled with guests' room numbers. The grand prize was a 7-night stay at Coconut Bay and round trip flights from JetBlue. We lined up along the course as the ducks were dumped into the lazy river and slowly made their way to the finish line. All proceeds from duck sales were donated to the St. Jude's Hospital Children's Ward in St. Lucia.
Another five shoots took place today - Rachel and Shea were on the beach early morning; Zoe and Angela shot down by the Surf Shack; and Kathryn posed in a cabana outside of the spa.
That night, we welcomed guests to an outdoor country barbecue before taking the stage for our show which included dancing, singing and football trivia with the resort's guests.
Check back tomorrow to read about our sightseeing tour of the island and our meet and greet with the guests.
