Wilf tells season ticket holders that decision is Favre's to make

Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf told season ticket holders on Wednesday night that Brett Favre's future is entirely up to the former MVP.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf told season ticket holders on Wednesday night that Brett Favre's future is entirely up to the former MVP.

Two days after Favre said in an interview with HBO that he is considering a return if his surgically repaired right arm will allow it, Wilf said it is clear to him that Favre still has a passion for the game.

He told a gathering of season ticket holders that "right now, it's all up to Brett Favre in terms of where his future is at. I'll just leave it at that."

About 1,200 fans in attendance hollered boisterously at the mention of Favre's name.

In the HBO interview on Monday, Favre said the Vikings are the only team he has spoken to about a possible comeback.
