FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Safety Patrick Chung and rookie running back Damien Harris are staying in Foxborough this weekend.

Before the Patriots left for Philadelphia Saturday afternoon, they announced that the two players, originally listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles, had been ruled out.

Chung had been limited all week in practice with two injuries (heel and chest) that have lingered with him throughout much of this season. Expect to see more of veteran Terrence Brooks in Chung's place defensively, as he's done at times this season. Chung also plays considerable special teams, so, New England will need to compensate for his loss on those units.

Harris, meantime, came down with a hamstring problem during Friday's practice, so, it's little surprise he's unavailable this weekend. He's also been a healthy scratch (not listed on the injury report) for most of the other prior games this season. The Patriots will go with their usual stable of ball carriers, it seems, against Philly.
