At least he can be thankful he wasn't suspended.

According to an ESPN.com report, Patriots All-Pro left tackle Matt Light has been fined by the NFL for his altercation with Miami's Channing Crowder last Sunday. Crowder received an equal sentence from the league office.

Speaking of giving thanks, one football writer has created along list of reasons for the Patriots to be grateful this season. It's a pretty interesting read.

As for this weekend's contest at Gillette Stadium, one local blogger believes New England's passing attack will be too much for the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers' top-ranked defense.

Oh, and remember Anthony Smith? That Steelers safety who guaranteed a win over the Pats a year ago, only to be humiliated by Brady, Moss and Co. here in Foxborough?

Well, he's not exactly repeating his pompous prognostication, but he and his Steeler teammates seem to be feeling confident about their chances this Sunday.
