The New England Patriots have given cornerback Kyle Arrington an exclusive rights tender, meaning the team will retain the starter's rights in the event of a lockout, the Boston Herald reported Monday night.
The tender is for the league minimum of $480,000 for one season. It's possible Arrington could sign it or he and the club could work out a new contract.
Arrington, who made the Patriots' roster as an undrafted free agent in 2009, had 71 tackles and an interception in his first season as starter.
