Season Ticket Holders Register to Attend
On Tuesday, Aug. 7 and Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2001, the New England Patriots will be conducting joint practices with the New York Giants at Bryant College in Smithfield, R.I. The two teams will have one afternoon practice on Aug. 7 (3 p.m.) and two practices on Aug. 8 (9 a.m. and 3 p.m.), giving those who attend rare and unique access to full-contact practice sessions between two of New England's favorite teams. The joint practices will be the first the Patriots have hosted since 1992.
Due to campus parking limitations and concerns regarding public safety, the practice sessions will be closed to the general public. However, season ticket account holders and fans on the season ticket waiting list will have an opportunity to receive passes to the practices. Hundreds of randomly selected entrants will win a pass that will permit access to one car and no more than eight passengers per vehicle (no buses or RVs). Passes will be mailed out on Aug. 1.
Webcast on Patriots.com
In an effort to accomodate the many fans who may have an interest in watching these practices but don't receive passes to attend in person, the Patriots will webcast the practice sessions on the web site at Patriots.com. It will be the first time a Patriots practice has ever been accessible to fans over the Internet.
On Friday, Aug. 10, the Patriots and the Giants will officially kick off the 2001 season with a preseason game at Foxboro Stadium.
How to Get a Parking Pass
Only Patriots season ticket holders and fans on the season ticket waiting list will be eligible. Register using the form below.
