**Mike Reiss** of ESPNBoston.com reports that the Patriots are working on the final details of a three-year contract with TE Michael Fells, according to a source.  Fells, 28, played with the Denver Broncos last season and would add depth at the tight end position behind Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez.

**Ian R. Rapoport** of The Boston Herald breaks down all of the Patriots' free-agent signing to date and discusses the ramifications of adding each player.  While discussing the Brandon Lloyd signing, Rapoport writes, "Is it the end for disappointing Chad Ochocinco? Deion Branch also in jeopardy."

**Ian R. Rapoport** also reports that Chargers DE Luis Castillo had a free-agent visit the Patriots over the weekend, according to a source.  The former first round pick out of Northwestern missed most of 2011 with a broken leg.  Rapoport writes, "He can play in the 3-4, he can play in the 4-3, he can rush from inside, he can play the run, and he's a tough dude. I expect talks to continue with the Patriots and Castillo, though he did leave town without signing with the team. And there is competition."  Castillo has had as many as 7 sacks in a season.

**Jeff Howe** of NESN.com posts a video of Brandon Lloyd's top highlight-reel catches after he was voted the 58th best player in the NFL by his fellow players in 2011.  The voting came following a year where Lloyd hauled in 11 touchdown receptions and led the NFL with 1,448 receiving yards with Denver in 2010. Lloyd reportedly signed a three-year deal with the Patriots over the weekend.
