LB Mike Rivera (left ankle) returned to practice after missing two straight sessions. Attendance, as a result, was perfect. New England had all 60 players (52 on the active roster, eight practice squad) available in at least a limited capacity.

Tight end Aaron Hernandez, who played college ball at Florida, not far from this week's game in Jacksonville, told reporters after practice today that he's eager to get back down to the Sunshine State. "It's going to be nice playing in some nice weather. Hopefully, it's nice down there."

Fellow tight end Rob Gronkowski politely declined to be interviewed today, saying he might do so next week. The Boston Globe's Shalise Manza Young cited a source today who said Gronk (left forearm/hip) is not going to play again this Sunday. Gronk has been officially listed by the team as Questionable for the Jags game, along with 18 other teammates.

The Jaguars, meanwhile, have ruled out running backs Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) and Rashad Jennings (concussion) for Sunday's game. Two other Jacksonville players are Questionable: safety Dwight Lowery (foot) and cornerback Aaron Ross (calf).

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick began his daily press briefing by telling reporters, "Glad to see everyone's still here." Belichick showing his lighter side by joking about the supposed Mayan apocalypse prophecy which was said to be fulfilled today.
