- Named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week (Wk. 4) after he returned 3 punts for 167 yards (55.7 avg.), including one for 87 yards for a touchdown vs. Carolina (9/28). It is his second-career game with over 100 punt return yards, and he is the third Patriot with multiple games with 100 punt return yards, joining WR Julian Edelman (2) and Troy Brown (3). He passed CB Mike Haynes (157 yards vs. Buffalo on Nov. 7, 1976) for the most punt return yards in a single game in team history, and passed WR Gunner Olszewski (48.3 avg. at the L.A. Chargers on Dec. 6, 2020) for the highest punt return average in a single game in team history. His punt return average ranked second in NFL history for a single game behind Nyheim Hynes (65.0). His 87-yard punt return touchdown was the third longest in team history behind Julian Edelman's 94-yard touchdown return vs. Miami on Jan. 2, 2011 and Mike Haynes' 89-yard touchdown return vs. Buffalo on Nov. 7, 1976. Jones also tied WR Julian Edelman for the most 60-yard punt returns in team history vs. Carolina (9/28) with 4 and joined WR Gunner Olszewski as the only Patriots with multiple 60-yard punt returns in the same game. Jones now has 2 punt return touchdowns, the fifth player with multiple in Patriots history, joining Julian Edelman (4), Troy Brown (3), Irving Fryar (3) and Mike Haynes (2).  Â
- Picked off a pass from QB Josh Allen at Buffalo (10/5) to end a drive at the 10-yard line in the third quarter. It is his fourth career interception. His three punt return touchdowns in his career tied him with Troy Brown and Irving Fryar for second in Patriots history behind the four punts returned for a touchdown by WR Julian Edelman. It was his third game with at least 100 punt return yards after having 167 yards vs. Carolina (9/28/25) and 109 yards vs. the New York Jets (11/20/22), tiying him with Troy Brown as the only Patriots to do so.
