Patriots.com has collected what the top 'experts' are predicting the Patriots will do in the first round come draft weekend. We will be updating this feature regularly to reflect changes in any of the mocks represented.

NOTE:New England traded its first round pick to the New Orleans Saints as part of the Brandin Cooks acquisition. Without a first round pick, we will no longer be updating our mock draft tracker unless the Patriots acquire one prior to the Draft.

EXPERT: Mel Kiper | ESPN Football Analyst

PICK:  Jabrill Peppers, SS, Michigan

Last Updated: February 15, 2017

KIPER'S ANALYSIS:
"Peppers is still a bit of a mystery in terms of projection -- teams are doing a lot of homework and trying to figure out how and where he'll fit. But I know a good place to land for a player who can do just about anything but just needs a coaching staff that can be creative and use his instincts. Jim Harbaugh will be doing a lot of selling on Peppers' behalf, and perhaps the Patriots will listen." Click here to view Mel Kiper's full mock draft.

PREVIOUS PICKS
January 19 - O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama

EXPERT: Todd McShay | ESPN Senior Writer

PICK: Haason Reddick, LB, Temple

Last Updated: February 8, 2017

MCSHAY'S ANALYSIS:
"Look for the Patriots to add a tight end early, perhaps Michigan's Jake Butt or Ole Miss' Evan Engram on Day 2. But given how the board fell, they could get better value by targeting Reddick here. He opened eyes at the Senior Bowl, proving he can thrive as an off-the-line LB. Reddick has a little Tedy Bruschi in him." Click here to view Todd McShay's full mock draft.

JEREMIAH'S ANALYSIS:
"Nobody appreciates versatility quite like the New England Patriots." Click here to view Daniel Jeremiah's full mock draft.

EXPERT: Pete Prisco | CBS Sports Senior Writer

PICK: Takkarist McKinley, OLB, UCLA

Last Updated: March 7, 2017

PRISCO'S ANALYSIS:
"The edge rush is the weak point of the New England defense. McKinley can stand up and also put his hand on the ground."  **Click here** to view Pete Prisco's full mock draft.

EXPERT: Bucky Brooks | NFL Media Analyst

PICK: Tim Williams, OLB, Alabama

Last Updated: March 1, 2017

BROOKS'S ANALYSIS:
"If the Patriots can win without a dynamic rusher on the edge, imagine how the defense could play with an electric pass-rush specialist in the stable."  **Click here** to view Bucky Brooks full mock draft.

January 26 - David Njoku, TE, Miami

EXPERT: Charley Casserly | NFL Media Analyst

PICK: David Njoku, TE, Miami

Last Updated: March 7, 2017

CASSERLY'S ANALYSIS:
"'Trader Bill' not likely to stay here, but the Patriots could lose Martellus Bennett in free agency." Click here to view Charley Casserly's full mock draft.

EXPERT: Lance Zierlein | NFL Media Draft Analyst

PICK: Forrest Lamp, OG, Western Kentucky

Last Updated: February 22, 2017

ZIERLEIN'S ANALYSIS:
"Remember in 2005 when the Patriots drafted Logan Mankins? This is their chance to repeat history because there are some similarities between Mankins and Lamp, who could step in at guard or center as an immediate starter." Click here to view Lance Zierlein's full mock draft.

PREVIOUS PICKS
January 30 - Jabrill Peppers, SS, Michigan

EXPERT: Rob Rang | CBSSports.com

PICK: David Njoku, TE, Miami

Last Updated: March 7, 2017

RANG'S ANALYSIS:
"With Jamie Collins traded to Cleveland and Dont'a Hightower, Jabaal Sheard and Chris Long each pending free agents, the Patriots will likely be focusing on pass rushers in the 2017 draft. There should be some quality candidates available with this pick. Martellus Bennett is a free agent, as well, however, and with Rob Gronkowski's lack of durability, the ultra-athletic Njoku could be too talented to let slip by."
