TEAM NOTES
PATRIOTS WIN FOURTH STRAIGHT GAME
The Patriots won their fourth straight game with a 31-13 win over Tennessee, the Patriots longest winning streak since a seven-game winning streak during the 2021 season.
PATRIOTS COMPLETE THREE-GAME ROAD TRIP WITH THIRD STRAIGHT WIN
The Patriots completed a three-game road trip with their third straight win with the 31-13 victory over the Titans. The Patriots won the first two road games with a 23-20 win at Buffalo and a 25-19 win at New Orleans. The victory over Tennessee marked the Patriots third time winning all three games when playing three straight on the road in a single season. In 1961 the Patriots won their final three games on the road and then in 1985 the Patriots won three straight postseason games played on the road en route to their first Super Bowl appearance. The Patriots have had 24 previous instances of three or more consecutive games on the road in a single season, including the postseason. The Patriots join the Rams (2018), Steelers (2020), Commanders (2020), Cowboys (2021) and Vikings (2024) as teams that have won all three games of a threegame road trip in the last ten years.
PATRIOTS IMPROVE TO A 4-0 ROAD RECORD
The Patriots improved to a 4-0 record on the road. The Patriots have started with a road record of 4-0 or better eight times in team history – 1978 – 6-0, 2006 – 5-0, 2007 – 8-0. 2015 – 4-0, 2016 – 8-0, 2017 – 6-0. 2019 – 4-0 and 2021 – 6-0. The Patriots finished undefeated on the road in 2007 and 2016.
PATRIOTS HAVE NOT ALLOWED A RUNNING BACK TO GAIN 50 YARDS
The Patriots are the only team in 2025 that has not surrendered 50 yards to a running back through the first seven games in 2025. It is the first time in team history that has occurred. Last season, Baltimore did not allow a 50-yard rusher for the first seven weeks of the season. The longest streak since the merger is 10 by Tampa Bay in 2020.
STOPPING THE RUN
The Patriots held Tennessee to 39 yards rushing, the lowest since allowing 29 yards rushing on 24 attempts on Dec. 3, 2023 vs. the LA Chargers.
PATRIOTS GON ON A 11-PLAY 93-YARD DRIVE IN SECOND QUARTER
The Patriots 11-play, 93-yard drive in the second quarter that ended in a touchdown pass from QB Drake Maye to TE Austin Hooper is the longest drive of the season. The previous best was a 17-play, 92-yard drive in the fourth quarter vs. Pittsburgh on Sept. 21.
PATRIOTS SCORE FIRST DEFENSIVE TOUCHDOWN OF THE SEASON
LB K'Lavon Chaisson recovered a fumble on a 13-yard sack of QB Cam Ward in the third quarter and returned it 4 yards for a touchdown, the team's first defensive touchdown of the year and first since CB Christian Gonzalez returned a fumble 63 yards for a touchdown at Miami on Nov 24, 2024.
STOPPING THE RUN
The Patriots have held their opponent under 100 yards rushing in each of the first two games of the season with 70 yards allowed vs. Cincinnati and 46 yards vs. Seattle. If the Patriots hold the Jets to under 100 yards rushing this week, it will be the first time starting the year by holding the opponent under 100 yards rushing in the first three games since 2019 when the Patriots allowed 32 yards rushing vs Pittsburgh, 42 yards at Miami and 36 yards vs. the New York Jets.
PATRIOTS RUSHNG GAME PRODUCES 175 YARDS
