Law, Seymour among inactives

Four regular starters will miss the regular season finale

Cornerback Ty Law and defensive end Richard Seymour were among the Patriots inactives for the regular season finale, the team announced about one hour before the 1 p.m. game against the 49ers.

Law has been out since breaking his foot back on Oct. 31 at Pittsburgh and hoped to return during the regular season. Seymour injured his knee in the team's win over the Jets last week and it's not officially known when he will return to action.

Joining Law and Seymour on the inactive list are safety Eugene Wilson (thigh), running back Kevin Faulk (knee), safety Dexter Reid (shoulder), linebacker Matt Chatham (hamstring) and tight end Daniel Graham (rib). Jim Miller will be the emergency quarterback for the 16th straight game.
