Dan Hanzus of NFL.com reports that the Patriots expect Rob Gronkowski to be ready for training camp following his fourth arm surgery -- although they won't have a true timetable for his return until the plate in his arm is replaced next week.

"If the infection has cleared -- Gronkowski has been on antibiotics -- no more surgeries likely will be needed," writes Hanzus. "If not, [Ian] Rapoport reports there almost certainly will be a fifth surgery that would make it unlikely he'd be ready for training camp in July."

Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com writes that second-year safety Tavon Wilson has been working closely with veteran Adrian Wilson during the team's offseason workout program.

"Over the last five weeks in the Patriots' offseason program, Tavon Wilson explained that one of the things Adrian Wilson has stressed is understanding more than his own assignment, but also how the offense is attempting to attack the scheme," writes Reiss. "Wilson feels as if he has a solid foundation from which to build."

Reiss believes that Tavon Wilson, drafted 48th overall in last year's draft, will be in the mix to start alongside Devin Mccourty at safety in 2013.

Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars have claimed former Patriots DT Kyle Love off waivers.

"Jacksonville also had claimed defensive tackle Brandon Deaderick, who was released by New England Monday," she adds.

Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald believes that the Patriots defense is beginning to take on a new shape following the release of defensive tackles Brandon Deaderick and Kyle Love. Could these moves mean that Bill Belichickis attempting to make his defense more viable against the pass?

"Speed and athleticism were the buzzwords last year when he jumped up in the first round to grab both defensive end Chandler Jones and linebacker Dont'a Hightower," writes Guregian.

"Right now, that premise has expanded up front, as it appears he wants his line bigger, taller and faster around his anchor, Vince Wilfork."

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that free agent WR Donte' Stallworth has been cleared to return to football following an offseason hot air baloon accident. Stallworth suffered severe burns in the incident.

"Stallworth, a first-round pick of the Saints in 2002, has played for New Orleans, Philadelphia, New England, Cleveland, Baltimore, Washington, and once again New England. In his only 2012 appearance, with the Patriots, Stallworth caught a 63-yard touchdown pass," adds Florio.
