Patriots and AAA Announce Fan Travel Program

Patriots Fan Travel operated by AAA Travel is offering packages to all eight regular season away games for the upcoming season.

The New England Patriots and the travel division of AAA Southern New England have partnered to launch the Patriots Fan Travel Program. The program gives fans of Patriots nation the opportunity to attend any away game in 2009 through new travel packages. Included is the much-anticipated contest at the renowned Wembley Stadium in London. The packages seek an exciting, yet comfortable, travel experience.

"We are pleased to be operating the official Patriots Fan Travel program for fans to not only see their team play away games, but to also enjoy the destination, especially London in October," said Bill Sutherland, Vice President of Travel for AAA Southern New England. "By teaming with the Patriots organization, AAA will offer exclusive opportunities for fans."

The program has divided trips into two categories: Domestic and International. Domestic trips include destinations of New York, Denver, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Miami and Houston. Ideally, trips are for two people and contain: two game tickets, two tickets to a Patriots home game in December, first-class hotel accommodations, a welcoming reception upon arrival to meet fellow fans, Patriots merchandise, transportation to and from stadiums accompanied by a knowledgeable Tour Manager and tailgate party prior to kickoffs. Airfare is not included but can be added to packages upon request.

Domestic Travel Packages:

Patriots v. Jets: September 19-21. The Patriots face off against their AFC East foe at Giants Stadium. The trip includes roundtrip motor coach bus from the Boston area to midtown Manhattan. Get cozy at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers for two nights.

Patriots v. Denver Broncos:October 10-12. Watch the Patriots take on the Broncos at Invesco Field at Mile High and stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites for two nights.

Patriots v. Colts: November 14-16. Don't miss football's greatest rivalry when the Patriots trek into Lucas Oil Stadium to take on Peyton Manning and the Colts. Lodging is at the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre for two nights.

Patriots v. New Orleans Saints: November 29-December 1. Join the Patriots for a nationally-televised Monday Night Football game at the Superdome walking distance from Bourbon St. Stay in the heart of the French Quarter with a two-night stay at the Inn on Bourbon.

Patriots v. Miami Dolphins:December 5-7. Ready to escape the wrath of a New England winter? Miami is calling. Stay two days at the Marriott Miami Biscayne Bay located at the intersection of Downtown and Miami Arts District. Cheer on the Patriots at Dolphins Stadium as they compete against their AFC East rivals.

Patriots v. Houston Texans: January 2-4. Bring in the New Year by joining the Patriots at Reliant Stadium in the final away game package. Travelers will stay at the Westin Galleria Hotel for two nights.

International Travel Package:

The lone international package accommodations cannot to beat. The trip consists of airfare from Boston's Logan Airport to London's Heathrow Airport departing October 22 and returning October 26. One game ticket will be distributed to each traveler. Transportation is provided to and from the airport and Wembley Stadium when the Patriots play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday the 25th. Spend three luxurious nights at the Copthorne Tara Hotel in Kensington. A trusted and informed staff will assist fans around the hotel's neighborhood filled with sightseeing opportunities such as the Buckingham and Kensington Palaces, Harrods, the London Museum of Natural History, the London Eye and of course "the tube"- which merits a ride at least once in everyone's life! A daily breakfast will be served each morning and fans will also receive a Patriots-themed gift.
