Patriots Cheerleaders collecting cards for troops

Foxborough, Mass. – As the Fourth of July approaches, New England Patriots Cheerleaders are asking Patriots fans to show their patriotism by making homemade cards and letters for American troops stationed abroad.

New England Patriots Cheerleaders will be traveling to Southwest Asia this summer on behalf of the United States Army. Five members of the squad will be making the 10-day trip, stopping at various bases throughout the region to perform and visit with the troops. The cheerleaders plan to deliver all the homemade cards they collect from back home.

Patriots fans are encouraged to send cards and notes of encouragement for the cheerleaders to hand deliver to American servicemen and women. Cards must be received by July 14, and can be mailed to: Support Our Troops, c/o Patriots Cheerleaders, Gillette Stadium, One Patriot Place, Foxborough, MA 02035.

Note:Because the squad cannot disclose the exact locations of their visit, they will be unable to distribute cards addressed to individuals.
