In today's News Blitz, Daunte Culpepper gets some attention after takin 21 sacks already this season. Ellis Hobbs is injured, but what's his take? The Dolphins haven't performed well yet this season, but what can be expected this weekend.

*The Boston Globe's* Jackie MacMullan offers a feature on Dolphins quarterback Daunte Culpepper. Culpepper suffered a three-ligament tear in his knee last season and has since been sacked a whopping 21 times.

The*Boston Herald's* John Tomase also reports on Culpepper.

Mike Reiss of *The Boston Globe* reports on the already disappointing performance of the Dolphins. Picked by many prognosticators to be one of the league's top contenders, the Phins stumbled out of the gate with a 1-3 start.

*The Boston Globe's* Mike Reiss reports on cornerback Ellis Hobbs' wrist injury. Hobbs spoke about the injury yesterday, saying he'd already had surgery for a broken bone in the wrist.

*The Boston Herald* also reports on Hobbs, who hopes to return to the field as soon as possible. He's thankful that he didn't hurt his legs after what happened to Rodney Harrison.

*The Providence Journal's* Shalise Manza Young and the *Hartford Courant's* Alan Greenberg both report extensively on Hobbs' injury as well.

According to Tony Massarotti of the *Boston Herald,* the Patriots are embelishing about the danger Miami posses in their Sunday meeting. Two years ago, the 12-1 Pats lost to the 2-11 Phins. Belichick hasn't forgotten that and neither have Tom Brady and Mike Vrabel.

The*Herald's* Tony Massarotti reports that Miami has given Brady unusual trouble in the past. His quarterback rating against them is a 74.2, a significant drop from his 88.1 career average.

In last week's game at Cincy, wideout Reche Caldwell took a mean hit over the middle. He spoke to the *Boston Herald's* John Tomase about the injury recently, saying he's fine. He wasn't on Wednesday's injury report.

*The Providence Journal's* Jim Donaldson calls Belichick's bluff, rebuking the coach's claims that the Dolphins pose a threat to the Patriots.

*Worcester Telegram & Gazette* writer Jennifer Toland offers a feature on Jarvis Green, who earned AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors following his three-sack performance in the Patriots' 38-13 win over the Bengals.

Eric McHugh of *The Patriot Ledger* offers his report card on the Pats performance against the previously unbeaten Bengals and previews the matchups in the upcoming game. McHugh notes that the Pats three tight end set is working well.

Albert Breer of the *MetroWest Daily News* reports on the versatility of the Dolphins play-calling. Belichick said yesterday that it makes the team especially difficult to prepare for.
