The New England Patriots have earned a playoff bye with their 28-0 win over the Miami Dolphins and the Houston Texans loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

New England will play in the AFC Divisional Round on Sunday, January 13th at 4:30pm.

As the second seed the Patriots will play the highest remaining seed from the AFC Wild-Card Round.

The Patriots have been the two seed four times previously, including following the 2001 and 2004 seasons in which they went on to win the Super Bowl. The Patriots also earned the two seed following the 1978 and 1996 seasons.
