In his Tuesday press conference, head coach Bill Belichick expressed some doubt as to the finality of the signing of free agent cornerback Hank Poteat on Monday.
"We'll have a release on that a little bit later. There's been a little problem with [Poteat's] situation. So, we'll give you that information later. I hope that wasn't too big of a story," said Belichick.
We now know, in fact, Poteat is officially on the Patriots roster. Whatever the situation was, is now cleared up for the former Carolina Panther and Pittsburgh Steeler to begin practicing with his new teammates.
