Practice squadder Solwold out

The Patriots took time out of their preparations for Pittsburgh and made a minor move to the practice squad, adding running back Kory Chapman in place of long snapper Mike Solwold.

The Patriots made a minor move on Monday, re-signing running back Kory Chapman to the practice squad and releasing long snapper Mike Solwold. Chapman spent the entire season on the Patriots practice squad before getting let go Jan. 12 to make room for Solwold.

The eight-man practice squad now consists of Chapman, wide receiver Cedric James and Ricky Bryant, defensive backOmare Lowe, linebacker Justin Kurpeikis, tackle Lance Nimmo, guard Billy Yates and defensive lineman Buck Rasmussen.
