FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced that they have signed rookie offensive lineman Tim Provost to the team's practice squad today.
Provost, 23, was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the sixth round of the 2003 NFL draft (209th overall). The 6-foot-5-inch, 300-pound offensive lineman did not allow a sack in 13 starts as a senior at San Jose State. He joins guard Russ Hochstein, nose tackle Ethan Kelley, safety Shawn Mayer and guard Jamil Soriano to complete the five-man practice squad.
