Wes Welker had fun with reporters on Tuesday at Media Day at Lucas Oil Stadium, especially in a back-and-forth with a gimmicky reporter wearing a faux leather helmet and old-school football uniform.

First, the slot receiver was asked who should play Bill Belichick if a movie were made about the coach?

"Who played Darth Vader?," Welker responded.

Then he was asked to spell his coach's name.

"B-e-l-i-c-h-i-k," Welker said, before quickly correcting himself and adding the 'c' before the final 'k.'

On a somewhat more serious note at another point in his meeting with the media, Welker was asked about Belichick's seemingly more upbeat, chipper demeanor this year and particularly of late.

"I think he's enjoying himself. I think he's got a lady in his life, so that could definitely be the case," Welker said.
