In Case You Missed It: Closing out the regular season

In case you missed it, we recap all our coverage from this week as the Patriots prepare to take on the Buffalo Bills this Sunday at Gillette Stadium to close out the 2014 regular season.

Coming off a close victory over the Jets, the Patriots headed into the week looking to secure the AFC's top spot with a Bronco's loss. Lucky for them, the Bengals played fantastic on Monday night to help the Patriots secure that spot.

Although the Monday night game was huge for the Patriots, the coaches and players put their blinders on and evaded all conversation about the Playoffs. Belichick and Brady reminded us all during their press conferences that this Sunday against the Bills, is still very important.

Check out photos from access to players and coaches during Week 17 as the Patriots prepare to play the Buffalo Bills at Gillette Stadium this Sunday.

Belichick opened his press conference on Tuesday telling the media that the Bills are a *"Good football team, well coached, tough, physical. We had our hands full with them up there and I'm sure we will on Sunday, too. *Of course its the NFL and as we observed last week against the Jets, no team will give up easily.

Later this week Brady talked about the importance of winning the last game of the season. Almost everyone believes that the Patriots should rest their top players. But guess what, they are professional football players, they get paid to play football!

On that note, Brady summed this Sunday's game up the best saying *"I think this is the time to put the pedal to the metal and not really go the other direction." *

Tuesday evening, the 2015 NFL Pro Bowl selections came out with 5 Patriots being selected to represent the team down in Glendale, Arizona. Tom Brady, K Stephen Gostkowski, TE Rob Gronkowski, CB Darrelle Revisand WR Matthew Slater (special teams) were selected. Read the full press release here.

Just before the the Holidays on Wednesday, we heard from the Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone and quarterback Kyle Orton share their side of this week's matchup.

For everyone here with the Patriots, Thursday was a quiet day with everyone celebrating the Holidays. Of course you can get your Patriots Holiday fix here, with a little twist of course.

Wrapping up the short week was Bill Belichick's press conference Friday morning where he looks forward to playing the Bills, stating that the "Bills offense has evolved since the last meeting."

Game Preview

The Patriots will face the Bills on Sunday afternoon here at Gillette Stadium where they come into the game 99-18 since 2002 at home. Pretty impressive feat, which looks promising with home field advantage carrying them through the Playoffs. Kick off is slated for 1pm and can be viewed on CBS.
