News Blitz 2/12: Feeling a draft

Today’s Patriots.com News Blitz starts with more appearances but focuses more on football.

Another day and another appearance for the Patriots, this time by the head coach himself. Bill Belichick stopped by to chat with David Letterman and ESPNBoston.com's Mike Reiss has a look at the Top 10 list. Julian Edelman also continued his tour with a trip to "Late Night with Seth Myers" and CSNNE.com has the details. Brandon LaFell indicated he wanted the Patriots to let the Seahawks score at the end.

Reiss then turns to football and wonders what round is too high for the Patriots to look at running back in the draft. Sticking with the draft, Nick O'Malley of the Springfield Republican wonders if it's time to look for Vince Wilfork's successor at defensive tackle.

Boston.com's Jack Andrade says history tells us the Patriots will use the franchise tag.

NESN.com's Doug Kyed looks at tight ends available in free agency and also discusses wide receivers in the market.

WEEI.com's Ryan Hannable says Chandler Jones would like to fight his brother, Jon, for charity.
