Nine receive offseason honor

Tom Brady once again heads the list of offseason program award winners.

Nine players were honored by the Patriots Thursday for their work in the team's offseason program and have earned prime parking spaces in the team lot along with other unidentified perks. The criteria for the awards isn't exactly known, but there is a performance-based formula used to determine which players will be honored.

The lucky nine this year include quarterback Tom Brady, running back Kevin Faulk, wide receiver Deion Branch, tight end Benjamin Watson, offensive lineman Stephen Neal, defensive linemen Jarvis Green and Dan Klecko, cornerback Hank Poteat and linebacker Don Davis.

The Patriots officially kick off full-team training camp practice Friday morning at 8:45 in a session open to the public. Visit the Patriots Football Weekly tent on your way into the practice fields to pick up your free 2005 training camp roster.
