According to a report from ESPNBoston, Patriots director of college scoutingJon Robinson is leaving the team to take a position with the Buccaneers.
Tampa Bay hired former Patriots scout and assistant director of player personnel Jason Licht to be its GM earlier this offseason.
Robinson spent the last 12 seasons in the Patriots scouting department, the last five as the team's director of college scouting.
Robinson did work the draft this past weekend before closing out his career in New England.
If New England chooses to promote from within to fill the now-vacant role of director of college scouting, Monti Ossenfort is the likely candidate having spent the last two seasons as the assistant director of college scouting for the Patriots.
