Patriots linebacker Dane Fletcher took to Twitter this afternoon to announce that he's going to be back in New England next season.

"Officially a New England Patriot again for next season!" he wrote and posted.

Fletcher's agent told CSNNE's Mary Paoletti that it is indeed a one-year deal and that his client expects to be ready for offseason practices this spring. The 26-year-old spent the entire 2012 season on injured reserve after injuring his left knee in the preseason opener against New Orleans. He was scheduled to become a restricted free agent this March.
