Experts share their picks for the Patriots Super Bowl matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.

Mike Reiss, ESPN:

Pick: Patriots 23, Seahawks 20

Few think the Patriots can win. It will take the best performance of the year from the offensive line to do so, and the feeling here is that they have it in them. This game, as many are, will be determined at the line of scrimmage.

Stephania Bell, ESPN: Seahawks

Ali Bhanpuri, NFL.com: Patriots 24, Seahawks 21

Brooke Cersosimo, NFL.com: Patriots 24, Seahawks 23

Dan Parr, NFL.com: Seahawks 27, Patriots 20

Gennaro Filice, NFL.com: Seahawks 27, Patriots 14

Tom Blair, NFL.com: Seahawks 24, Patriots 21

Why Cersosimo picked the Patriots: The Super Bowl has been decided by a field-goal attempt in the final 10 seconds of the game five times in its history, and the Patriots have won two of those five contests -- thanks to Adam Vinatieri (shoutout to my fellow South Dakotan). The sixth instance occurs Sunday as sixth-round rookie Andres Borregales boots a 50-yarder to win it late in regulation.

Why Bhanpuri picked the Patriots: Say what you want about their respective schedules -- the fact is both teams are extremely well-coached and have pummeled opponents all season long (tied for the league lead with six victories of 17-plus points). So I think the final score will reflect the parity between them, with a late Patriots field goal deciding the winner.

Pete Prisco, CBS Sports:

Pick: Seahawks 27, Patriots 10

Look for the Seahawks to win behind one of those defensive showings by their front that we will remember for a long time.

Defense wins championships, they say. But the reality is the fronts of the defense is what does it -- and Seattle will show that once again.

Jared Dubin, CBS Sports: Seahawks

Ryan Wilson, CBS Sports: Patriots

John Breech, CBS Sports: Seahawks

Tyler Sullivan, CBS Sports: Seahawks

Dave Richard, CBS Sports: Seahawks

Jamey Eisenburg, CBS Sports: Seahawks

Paul Perillo, Patriots.com:

Pick: Patriots 27, Seahawks 24

Drake Maye leads a late touchdown drive, and the defense closes the door to top off a magical championship run.

Mike Dussault, Patriots.com:

Pick: Patriots 27, Seahawks 17

My confidence in the Patriots has slowly been growing all Super Bowl week. The team seems like they don't want the season to end; they're relaxed, and I believe all signs are pointing toward their best all-around game of the entire season. Drake Maye gets the better MVP award…

Evan Lazar, Patriots.com:

Pick: Patriots 23, Seahawks 20

My brain is telling me that Seattle is the better team on paper, but my gut says the Patriots have won in this spot all year. I don't think the gap is wide enough talent-wise to pick Seattle. It just feels like the Patriots year.
