New England Patriots and JumpStart Team Up to Engage Young Fans

JumpStart to Showcase Mobile Games at Patriots Season Ticket Member Away Game Viewing Party at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, Dec. 21.

TORRANCE, CALIF. (December 19, 2014) — The New England Patriots and JumpStart®, the leader in learning-based games for kids, announced today that they have teamed up to offer JumpStart's NFL-themed games to engage and educate young Patriots fans. The two mobile game titles — NFL RUSH GameDay Heroes and NFL RUSH Heroes & Rivals — will be promoted on Patriots.com and highlighted within Patriots newsletters. JumpStart will also be showcasing the games as part of the festivities at the upcoming Away Game Viewing Party at Gillette Stadium this Sunday, Dec. 21 - exclusively for Season Ticket Members. While the New England Patriots take on the New York Jets, viewing party attendees will have the opportunity to demo NFL RUSH Heroes & Rivals on Microsoft Surface Tablets and engage in their own action-packed football competition.

"At JumpStart, we want to give kids a learning edge through epically fun gameplay. These games teach kids skills like memory recall and pattern recognition, while also building team affinity and providing a fun way for players to get excited about football," said David Lord, CEO of JumpStart. The two football-themed games from JumpStart redefine the typical "family game night" by bringing families, friends and players of all ages together for intense, football-themed gameplay. NFL RUSH GameDay Heroes, available to download via iTunes®, Google Play™, and Amazon®, is a multiplayer game where players can compete against friends and family in real-time. Players race against the clock in fun, football-themed mini games like Scrimmage Swap and Laces Out and earn points for their favorite NFL team. Since the game's launch at the start of the 2014 NFL Season, the New England Patriots have risen to the top and rank among the five most popular teams selected within the game. After choosing their favorite team, like the Patriots, players get a customized helmet, jersey and other gear for their avatar.

The second game from JumpStart, NFL RUSH Heroes & Rivals, is available to download via iTunes®, Google Play™, Amazon® and Windows, and also enables players to represent their favorite NFL teams and become football champions. Players train hard with eight mini games designed to help them practice different positions on a football team. Then players put their skills to the test in a fast-paced matchup against rival teams in a game of Redzone Rivals where they strategize and use their Football I.Q. to earn as many fans as they can.
