Lots of media opinions and analysis out there today after another road loss for the Patriots this season. An **ESPN blog post** examines how New England's latest loss at Tennessee might jeopardize the Patriots' hopes of landing the top spot in the AFC Playoffs.

A **Providence Journal** writer seems to agree, saying the road ahead will be tougher for the Patriots after this defeat in Nashville.

"We've seen enough shaky defensive efforts this fall to fear the worst," he asserts in part, "especially if the Patriots have to play Pat Mahomes, Tyreek Hill and the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in an AFC Championship Game."

On **The Athletic website**, there's an account of this game that finds it difficult to pinpoint exactly who had the worst outing of the afternoon.

QB Tom Brady takes much of the blame on his shoulders, telling **WEEI radio** this morning that he needs to spread the ball to more of his receivers.

One of the many players taking the loss hard was WR Julian Edelman, as **boston.com** recounts. After the game, Edelman was offering up apologies for the way the Patriots performed in front of a nearly 50-50 crowd of Patriots and Titans fans.

Fellow pass catcher Chris Hogan admitted to **Boston Sports Journal** that there's considerable frustration following this lopsided loss to Tennessee.

An **NBC Sports Boston** writer focuses on how the Titans' defense manhandle the Patriots' offense.

Of course, there were plenty of Patriots-Titans connections in this game, particularly on the Tennessee roster, where several former Patriots now reside. There were stark differences, though, in the way those erstwhile Patriots reacted to beating their former club.

RB Dion Lewis had some choice words for New England, while CB Malcolm Butler was more gracious in victory, as the **Boston Herald** details.

A **Boston Globe** scribe offers his 34 thoughts on the loss to Tennessee, while a blogger for **Mass Live** has just one – this is no time for the Patriots to panic.
