FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced that they signed DL Geneo Grissom to the practice squad and released OL Anthony Fabiano from the practice squad.

Grissom, 25, was released by New England from the 53-man roster on November 9. The 6-foot-4, 265-pounder was originally drafted by the Patriots in the third round (97th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma. Grissom began the 2017 season on the practice squad before being signed to the 53-man roster on Sept. 22, 2017. He has appeared in 29 games as a reserve over the last three seasons and registered six tackles on defense and six special teams tackles.

Fabiano, 24, was signed by New England to the practice squad on November 9. The 6-foot-1, 303-pounder originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Baltimore Ravens out of Harvard on May 6, 2016. The Wakefield, Mass., native was released by the Ravens at the end of training camp last season and had two separate stints on the Cleveland Browns practice squad before being added to the 53-man roster on Dec. 5, 2016. Fabiano appeared in the final four regular season games with one start at center in the finale at Pittsburgh.
