FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced that they have signed LB Chad Muma off the Indianapolis practice squad.
Muma, 26, originally entered the NFL as a third-round draft pick by Jacksonville in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Wyoming. The 6-foot-3, 239-pounder, was released by Jacksonville at the end of training camp and was claimed off waivers by Indianapolis. Muma was released by Indianapolis on Nov. 1 and was signed to the practice squad on Nov. 4. He has played in 55 NFL games with seven starts and has registered 81 total tackles, 1½ sacks and 18 special teams tackles. Muma played in 5 games this season with Indianapolis before spending time on the practice squad.
