Patriots victory receives third-highest market share of season; Highest Week 13 market share in team history

The Patriots broadcast once again topped the local Boston market.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Tom Brady's 201st career victory gave him the most victories in National Football League history by a quarterback, as the Patriots 26-10 triumph on Sunday gave the team it's 10th win of the season. The record-breaking performance reflected in the weekly television ratings, as the Patriots broadcast once again topped the local Boston market.

Sunday's broadcast captured a market share of 68, making it the third-highest market share of the 2016 season, as well as the single-highest market share ever for a Week 13 Patriots broadcast. The 31.5 household rating was good enough to once again capture the top spot in the weekly television ratings for the Boston market. The Patriots have now taken the top spot in the weekly Boston market ratings for all 12 of their regular season broadcasts, as well as three of four preseason broadcasts.

The Patriots will return to the primetime stage next week as they host the Baltimore Ravens on a Monday Night Football broadcast at Gillette Stadium. The 8:30 p.m. kickoff will be televised on ESPN with Sean McDonough calling the play-by-play and accompanied by color commentary from Jon Gruden.
