Doug Flutie's week on "Dancing with the Stars" got a shake up with a partner switch, but some familiar faces came out to cheer him on – virtually, at least.
Though his girlfriend Linda Holliday went to support Doug Monday night, Coach Bill Belichick had to get to work in Foxborough. Coach Belichick took to Instagram, using Linda's account, to commend Doug on his work so far.
"We're all giving you some great support. I'm sure things will go well. You've got great feet," Coach Belichick said smiling before the video cuts off midsentence. (He's still new to SnapFace.)
Doug saw the video live on the show, and host Tom Bergeron was impressed.
"I'm from the Boston area. I think I might make a smiling Bill Belichick voicemail my new ringtone," he said.
Tom posted a picture on Facebook with his favorite breakfast food to honor the former Patriot. With a box of Flutie Flakes on hand, Tom wrote to wish Doug luck for the switch up.
"You've always been an inspiration to me on the football field, setting the standard for performing at the highest level for 20+ years. And now putting us all to shame on the dance floor… Good luck on Monday and have fun!!"
Doug and temporary partner Peta Murgatroyd tangoed their way to the hearts of the judges, earning a score of 28. Though there is no elimination this week, you can vote for Doug and the points will be added to his overall score.
