The New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens will meet in a Sunday Night Football game from M&T Bank Stadium this week. The game was originally scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff before being flexed into Sunday Night Football. This week's game will be the fourth Sunday Night Football meeting between the two teams. The Patriots lost at Baltimore in the first two Sunday Night games in 2012 and 2019. The Patriots beat the Ravens, 23-17, in the last Sunday Night game on Nov. 15, 2020 at Gillette Stadium.
ROAD WARRIORS
A win this week at Baltimore will improve the Patriots to a 7-0 road record. The Patriots have started with a 7-0 record on the road two times in team history. The Patriots are the only team in 2025 that is undefeated on the road.
SERIES HISTORY
The New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens have squared off 12 times in the regular season and four times in the postseason, including two straight AFC Championship Games in 2011 and 2012, since the Baltimore franchise was founded after the Cleveland Browns moved to Baltimore in 1996. All four postseason games have been played at Gillette Stadium. The Patriots are 9-3 against Baltimore in the regular season and 2-2 against Baltimore in the playoffs.
The Patriots and Ravens last played on Sept. 25, 2022 when the Patriots hosted Baltimore and lost, 37-26. The Patriots will travel to Baltimore for the first time since the 2019 season when Baltimore snapped the Patriots' 8-0 start with a 37-20 loss on Nov. 3, 2019. The Patriots are 3-2 in games played in Baltimore.
The Patriots and Ravens first met in the playoffs following the 2009 season, with Baltimore taking a 33-14 win in a Wild Card matchup at Gillette Stadium on Jan. 10, 2010. The Patriots avenged that loss in the 2011 AFC Championship Game with a 23-20 victory over the Ravens at Gillette Stadium on Jan. 22, 2012, to advance to Super Bowl XLVI. The teams met again in the 2012 AFC Championship Game at Gillette Stadium on Jan. 20, 2013, with Baltimore taking a 28-13 decision to advance to Super Bowl XLVII. Most recently, New England overcame two 14-point deficits in a 35-31 win in the 2014 AFC Divisional Playoff at Gillette Stadium on Jan. 10, 2015.
The first meeting between the teams came during Baltimore's first season, when the Patriots prevailed 46-38 on Oct. 6, 1996. The 84 total points scored by both teams in that game rank as the second-highest total in a game in Patriots history to the 86 points in a 43-43 tie with Oakland in 1964.
PATRIOTS VS. BALTIMORE PREDECESSORS
From 1970-83, the Patriots faced the Baltimore Colts 27 times, posting a 12-15 record in those games. The Colts moved to Indianapolis prior to the 1984 season and Baltimore was left without an NFL team until the Cleveland Browns moved to Baltimore and became the Ravens in 1996. Prior to the move, the Patriots were 4-11 against the Browns, including a 2-4 record against Cleveland when Bill Belichick was the Browns head coach from 1991-95.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR THIS WEEK
- A victory over the Baltimore Ravens this week will give the Patriots their 12th win of the season and their 14th 12-win season in team history, which is third all-time since 1970, behind San Francisco (16) and Dallas (15).
- A win this week at Baltimore will improve the Patriots to a 7-0 road record. The Patriots have started with a 7-0 record on the road two times in team history. The Patriots are the only team in 2025 that is undefeated on the road.
- The Patriots rushed for a season-high 246 yards against Buffalo last week. If the Patriots rush for 200 yards this week at Baltimore, it will be the team's first time rushing for 200 yards in back-to-back games since the 2012 season when they gained 247 yards rushing at Buffalo (9/20) followed by 251 yards vs. Denver (10/7).
- The Patriots tied a team record for a single game with 4 rushing touchdowns last week at Buffalo. The most rushing touchdowns scored in a two-game stretch by New England was 8 rushing touchdowns when they ran for 4 touchdowns in back-to-back games in 1978 – vs. Miami on Oct. 22 and vs. the New York Jets on Oct. 29.
- Last week against Buffalo (12/14), the Patriots rushed for 246 yards on 25 carries for a 9.8-yard average, the team's highest rushing average in a game in team history. The previous record was a 7.9-yard average when they rushed 19 times for 151 yards on Oct. 6, 2024, vs. Miami. If the Patriots reach at least a 6.0-yard rushing average this week at Baltimore, it will mark the second time in team history and first since the 1962 season that the team has had back-to-back weeks with a rushing average of at least 6.0-yards per rush.
- Mike Vrabel has won his first six road games with New England to become the fifth head coach in NFL history to win each of his first six road games with a team and the first since the Colts' Jim Caldwell in 2009. A win this week at Baltimore will give Vrabel his seventh road win to tie Wade Phillips (2007) and Caldwell (2009). George Seifert (1989-90) holds the NFL record after winning his first 16 road games.
- A win this week at Baltimore will give Vrabel his second 12-win season as a head coach. He led the Tennessee Titans to a 12-5 record in 2021.
- QB Drake Maye scored 2 rushing touchdowns last week against Buffalo. If he scores 2 rushing touchdowns this week at Baltimore, he will join QB Cam Newton as the only New England quarterbacks with 2 rushing touchdowns in back-to-back games. Newton had 2 rushing touchdowns vs. Miami on Sept. 13, 2020, and followed that performance with 2 rushing touchdowns at Seattle the following week on Sept. 20, 2020.
- Maye enters this week against Baltimore first in the NFL with a 70.9 completion percentage. Tom Brady has the New England record for a season with a 68.9 completion percentage in 2007. Brady was the last Patriots player to lead the NFL in completion percentage when he did so in 2007. Maye's 70.9 completion percentage would be the ninth-best in NFL History.
- Maye has 23 touchdown passes in 2025 and needs 2 touchdown passes this week against Baltimore to become the 20th Patriots quarterback to throw 25 touchdowns. Maye will join Tom Brady (14), Drew Bledsoe (3), Steve Grogan (1) and Babe Parilli (1) as the Patriots quarterbacks with at least 25 touchdown passes in a season.
- RB TreVeyon Henderson had his second 100-yard game last week against Buffalo (12/14), when he finished the game with 148 yards rushing. If he has a 100-yard rushing performance this week at Baltimore, he will be the first Patriots player with back-to-back games with 100-yards rushing since RB Damien Harris accomplished the feat in 2021 with 101 yards rushing vs. Dallas (10/17) followed by 106 yards rushing vs. the New York Jets (10/24).
- Henderson had his third game in 2025 with 2 rushing touchdowns last week against Buffalo. If Henderson has 2 rushing touchdowns this week, he will tie QB Cam Newton (2020), RB LeGarrette Blount (2016), Corey Dillon (2005, 2006) and Horace Ivory (1978) for games with at least two rushing touchdowns in a season with four, second only to the five games by Curtis Martin (1995).
- Henderson enters this week's game at Baltimore with 8 total touchdowns (7 rushing touchdowns and 1 receiving touchdown). If he scores a touchdown this week, he will become the fifth Patriots rookie to score at least 9 total touchdowns in a season.
- LB Robert Spillane enters this week with a team-leading 97 total tackles. If he registers at least 3 total tackles this week against the Ravens, he will reach 100 total tackles for the third straight season after finishing with 148 tackles in 2023 and a Raiders record of 158 total tackles in 2024.
- LB Harold Landry III is leading the Patriots with 8½ sacks. If he registers 1½ sacks this week against Baltimore, he will reach at least 10 sacks for the third time in his career. He had 12 sacks in 2021 and 10½ sacks in 2023 when he played for Tennessee.
- S Brenden Schooler has 13 special teams tackles in 2025 and needs 2 special teams tackles to surpass his career-high of 14 special teams tackles set his rookie season in 2022. He has recorded at least 2 special teams tackles in a game eight times in his career, including two games in 2025 with 3 special teams tackles at New Orleans (10/12) and 2 at Tennessee (10/19).
