Justin Bethel walks in New York Fashion Week for Project Runway's Chelsey Carter

You never know where Patriots players will pop up once the offseason begins. As it turns out, one place to look is New York Fashion Week.

Justin Bethel spent Feb. 8 walking in a show for Alex Carter, a line by designer Chelsey Carter who recently competed on "Project Runway," and to paraphrase Tim Gunn, he made it work.

Making his New York Fashion Week runway debut, Bethel rocked shades of blue with an oversized jacket and dramatic face makeup to match. Though he may have been a rookie in this scenario, Bethel hit the runway like a seasoned vet.

In a post on Instagram, Bethel wrote: "Can you even say you walked in #nyfw without some war paint. Go to do something a little different and had a great time doing it." In response, Carter commented: "Great vibes, great walk, greatness!"

Though this was his first fashion week, this isn't his first go at modeling. In fact, Bethel is signed on with Wilhelmina Models, an agency that represents celebrities like Nicki Minaj, Shawn Mendes, Kygo and Niall Horan.

The crossover between the NFL and New York Fashion Week is always something to keep an eye on. This year, Viking Anthony Harris, former Saint Brandon Coleman and former Patriot and Ram Dominique Easley were also in attendance, and back in 2017, former Patriot Danny Amendola also hit the runway at fashion week for German designer Philipp Plein.

As for Bethel and his offseason modeling gigs, it's safe to say Patriots Nation is rooting for you -- we're all rooting for you.
