Members of the New England Patriots will belt out some tunes Wednesday, June 4 during a karaoke competition put on by Patriots special teams captain Larry Izzo in support of the families of American servicemen. Larry Izzo's Salute to the Troops, which will be held at The Roxy in Boston, is open to the public for $50 per ticket, which may be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com.
In the first two years of the event, Izzo has raised over $400,000 for military-related charities and hopes to continue his success this year by making the event bigger and better with sponsor packages that allow fans to sing on stage with their favorite Patriots players. This year, all proceeds will benefit the Massachusetts Soldiers Legacy Fund, Homes for Our Troops, Operation Ensuring Christmas, the Fallen Patriot Fund, Fisher House Boston, the Pat Tillman Foundation, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and The David Connolly Foundation.
