WEEK 1: Patriots 27, Chiefs 42

The Kansas City Chiefs spoiled the New England Patriots Super Bowl LI Banner ceremony with a 42-27 victory. The only bright spot for New England was a three-rushing touchdown performance by RB Mike Gillislee. He became the first Patriots player to score three touchdowns in his debut.

WEEK 2: Patriots 36, Saints 20

The New England Patriots rebounded in a dominant offensive manner after an opening day loss with a 36-20 road win over the New Orleans Saints. A big day by QB Tom Brady and TE Rob Gronkowski helped set the pace for the win. Brady set an NFL record with his 52nd NFL game with at least 300 yards and three touchdowns, finishing the game 30-of-39 for 447 yards and three touchdowns. It was Brady's 10th 400-yard game.

WEEK 3: Patriots 36, Texans 33

Wide receiver Brandin Cooks caught a 25-yard toe-tapping touchdown with 23 seconds to play and then added a two-point play to give the Patriots a 36-33 come-from-behind victory over the visiting Houston Texans. QB Tom Brady, who finished 25-of-35 for 378 yards and five touchdowns, led the Patriots on the game winning drive.

WEEK 4: Patriots 30, Panthers 33

The New England Patriots suffered their second home loss of the 2017 season when Carolina K Graham Gano drilled a 48-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Panthers to a 33-30 victory. The Patriots defense forced two turnovers but failed to hold Carolina QB Cam Newton and his targets in check. Brady finished the game 32-of-45 for 307 yards and two touchdowns.
