The Boston Globe says Bennett is soaking in the Foxborough atmosphere.

Oh, by the way there was another veteran who made his 2019 debut in Foxborough as Tom Brady got back to work. The Boston Herald was impressed with Brady’s early performance.

Joe Thuney has been working at left tackle as Isaiah Wynn works his way back from a torn Achilles suffered last summer. Thuney is embracing the challenge of protecting Brady’s blindside. With Sony Michel out, rookie Damien Harris got plenty of work on the first day. Harris became the last Patriots rookie to sign.

The Providence Journal says Ben Watson is happy to back for his second stint with the Patriots.

The Athletic believes the Patriots running backs can get even better if they disguise their looks. Jerod Mayo may be a rookie coach but he's already calling defensive plays. Here's what The Athletic learned on the first day of minicamp.

NBC Sports Boston noticed the abundance of passes Brady threw in N'Keal Harry's direction. Boston Sports Journal recaps the day. MassLive.com offers its version of the day’s events. WEEI.com highlights the work between Brady and Harry.

The Patriots made a roster move as they cut Austin Seferian-Jenkins while the veteran tight end steps away from the game for a month to deal with a personal issue.
